The Chinese metropolis of Changde, with a population of six million, located in the northeast of Hunan Province, has built in the shadow of numerous uniform 30- to 40-story high-rises a tranquil district with winding alleys, charming gabled roofs, and colorful facades in the North German architectural style of the late 19th century. The main thoroughfare, designed as a pedestrian zone, is called “Hannoversche Straße.” In this small quarter, a diverse mix of apartments, offices, restaurants, cafés, and shops has established itself. It showcases the capital of Lower Saxony at its best and is regarded as a bridge of friendship between the Chinese city of Changde and Hanover.

We at Feldhaus Klinker are particularly proud to have contributed to creating a realistic Hanoverian cityscape as well as an authentic atmosphere for businesspeople and tourists in the central Chinese city of Changde.

Manufactured in Bad Laer , we supplied 10,032 square meters of thin brick and 69,117 pieces of angle brick slips in nine different varieties for the facades through our exclusive distribution partner Kingart GmbH, headquartered in Hanover.

Residential and commercial building in Berlin Prenzlauer-Berg On the site at Winsstraße / corner of Marienburger Straße in Berlin Prenzlauer-Berg, a residential and commercial building with approximately 187 rental apartments (11,300 square meters) over six floors was constructed. On the ground floor, a commercial space of approximately 2,700 square meters was created, which includes, among other things, an Edeka supermarket. The architectural design was created by the architectural firm Stephan Höhne Gesellschaft von Architekten mbH. View project

Apartment building in Voxtrup In 2019, a residential complex with 16 units and a spacious underground garage was built at the roundabout of a main arterial road in Osnabrück. The new building blends into the existing development with distance and a distinctive head building. Towards the city centre, the building rises by one storey and sets an urban planning statement as a „landmark“. View project
