For products and services that comply with harmonized standards or parts thereof, the references of which have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is presumed under Section 4 of the BFSG that they meet the requirements of the statutory instrument to be issued pursuant to Section 3(2) of the BFSG, insofar as these requirements are covered by the standards in question or parts thereof . The standard applicable to websites and apps of public bodies is EN 301 549 in conjunction with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.
