"Clouth Quarter" in Cologne: In 2018, two residential buildings with 17 units were built in Cologne for the Energie+ building group, including an underground parking garage and a common room in the former gatehouse. The buildings meet passive house standards and generate energy via photovoltaic systems on the roofs. The monolithic construction with 49 cm thick brick walls features rounded corners and is clad with profiled brick slips. Student Residence in Mannheim: On the Spinelli site in Mannheim, a complex of student residences and social housing with a shared brick facade was completed by 2023. The buildings form the northern edge of the block along Anna-Sammet-Straße and the neighborhood square. Ninety student rooms are grouped around communal areas, complemented by a shared lounge. The outdoor space flows seamlessly into the courtyard. The facade design and structure of both buildings create a cohesive urban landscape. View project
Reference Project: Renovation of an Old Building on Goebenstrasse in Lübeck. An old building on Goebenstrasse in Lübeck received a new look as part of a facade renovation: Feldhaus Klinkerslips in the R752NF finish were applied to the existing facade using an external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS), giving the building a durable, maintenance-free surface with a classic water-struck appearance. The project demonstrates how Feldhaus thin bricks are thin brick ideally Feldhaus for the energy-efficient and visual enhancement of existing buildings. Thanks to their slim dimensions of just 14 mm and a weight of approximately 27 kg/m², thin brick be used regardless of structural considerations. Residential Quarter in Düsseldorf: Building plot 3 of the Karolinger Höfe development is part of a project that emerged from an urban planning competition in 2011. A family-friendly residential quarter with approximately 350 units is being developed on the 1.6-hectare site in the Bilk district of Düsseldorf. On building plot 3, two residential buildings with 117 apartments are being constructed above a shared underground parking garage. The buildings are divided into seven sections, each distinguished by three different thin brick types and individual color schemes. View project
