A creative approach to jointing: While the bed joints were grouted in a light color, the head joints were executed in a tone-on-tone pattern using the dark gray thin brick . The resulting "pinstripe" effect emphasizes the clean lines of the building and unifies the rows of bricks. The light bed joint also accentuates the building's length and visually reduces its height. Clinker bricks and thin brick are often associated with a rustic exterior. This image was to be countered in an elegant way. Here, the thin brick are presented as part of a modern facade design.
