Pontsteiger Amsterdam: The facade was constructed from precast concrete elements. Thanks to prefabrication, one floor could be completed per week. Hand-glazed thin brick with a textured surface, in WDF format, are embedded in the concrete elements in alternating vertical and horizontal stacked patterns. The chameleon-like green and bronze tones of the thin brick create a facade that changes with the light and time of day, just like the surface of the water surrounding the building. View project
