Apartment building in Voxtrup: In 2019, a residential complex with 16 units and a spacious underground parking garage was built at the roundabout of a main arterial road in Osnabrück. The new building blends into the existing development with a setback and a striking head building. Towards the city center, the building rises by one story, creating a prominent urban landmark. Pontsteiger Amsterdam: The facade was constructed from precast concrete elements. Thanks to prefabrication, one floor could be completed per week. Hand-glazed thin brick with a textured surface, in WDF format, are embedded in the concrete elements in alternating vertical and horizontal stacked patterns. The chameleon-like green and bronze tones of the thin brick create a facade that changes with the light and time of day, just like the surface of the water surrounding the building. View project
Residential Quarter in Düsseldorf: Building plot 3 of the Karolinger Höfe development is part of a project that emerged from an urban planning competition in 2011. A family-friendly residential quarter with approximately 350 units is being developed on the 1.6-hectare site in the Bilk district of Düsseldorf. On building plot 3, two residential buildings with 117 apartments are being constructed above a shared underground parking garage. The buildings are divided into seven sections, each distinguished by three different thin brick types and individual color schemes. View project
Modern Condominiums in Hanover List: In May 2021, a total of 20 high-quality condominiums were completed in Hanover List and handed over to the Heimkehr eG housing cooperative. This energy-efficient KfW-55 project offers modern amenities, spacious floor plans, floor-to-ceiling windows, private outdoor areas, and sustainable heating technology. The apartments combine living comfort with environmental awareness in an attractive location near the Eilenriede forest and the Mittelland Canal. View project
Lindenauer Hafen Leipzig: A micro-district with 72 rental apartments in four five-story buildings directly on the waterfront was completed on Hafenstraße in Leipzig by Q1 2021. The project was developed by Townscape and Sassenscheidt and sold to HanseMerkur before construction began. Through architectural twists, all units offer water views. A central plaza creates a pleasant atmosphere and ensures equal living space. The facade design is based on a yellowish brick slip type selected during the sampling process. View project
Apartment building in Berlin-Schöneberg: The Schöneberg Lens is an exciting urban development project in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district of Berlin, located between Südkreuz station and Schöneberg S-Bahn station. The area is being transformed into an urban quarter with a mix of residential and commercial spaces. The development will include both rental and owner-occupied apartments, office space, a hotel, a daycare center, and a café. A modern transportation concept and a sustainable energy supply are key components of the project. The building aims for KfW 55 efficiency standards and will feature a combined heat and power plant. Public spaces are being redesigned to create a pedestrian-friendly environment. Tree-lined avenues and public squares will contribute to the distinct character of the new quarter. The location boasts excellent public transportation connections, with bus, S-Bahn, and U-Bahn lines in the immediate vicinity.
