The attractive K704NF and K707NF varieties offer elegant alternatives to our brick slip ranges. The surface texture of the foot-shaped bricks, with their characteristic grain, originated from the traditional brickmaking process. These bricks, once the bottom row on the kiln floor, acquired particularly irregular imprints from the pressure of the bricks above – with sharp-edged clay remnants protruding all around. Initially considered a quality defect, they quickly became a popular choice among building planners in Europe. Familiar from the historic districts of old towns, they now blend seamlessly into existing structures or lend a sophisticated touch to new construction.
