A look behind the scenes: Diverse insights into ceramic production at Feldhaus Klinker

During Holy Week, Feldhaus Klinker opens its doors to all students who would like to gain a practical insight into the fascinating world of ceramic production. The aim is to showcase the diversity of tasks and areas of work within ceramic manufacturing – from raw material to finished clinker brick.

Interested participants can follow the entire production process of a clinker brick: starting with a visit to a clay pit, through the testing and mixing of the raw materials, to shaping and firing. The final quality control – including checks of clay color, surface texture, and dimensional accuracy – is also part of the program.

The individual work steps are demonstrated both on a laboratory scale and directly in the production halls, and participants can actively try them out. This way, they not only gain theoretical knowledge but also valuable practical experience.

Feldhaus Klinker is specifically targeting this offer at young people who are interested in skilled trades and technical professions and are enthusiastic about production processes. Openness, curiosity, and a willingness to get their hands dirty are expressly desired.

The events take place in the morning from 8:00 to approximately 12:00.
