The Lesum Park area is one of the largest urban development projects in Bremen-North to have been realized in recent years. With the involvement of the Bremen-North Building Authority, the development plan to create new building regulations was carried out in 2012/2013. To date, all construction projects have been completed, and Lesum Park has developed into a vibrant neighborhood in Bremen-North. Lesum Park was planned as a mixed-use neighborhood with residential and commercial uses. The commercial focus is on the healthcare sector. A diverse range of housing options was developed, including terraced houses, townhouses, and apartment buildings. A total of approximately 220 residential units were built. View Project
Student Residence in Mannheim: On the Spinelli site in Mannheim, a complex of student residences and social housing with a shared brick facade was completed by 2023. The buildings form the northern edge of the block along Anna-Sammet-Straße and the neighborhood square. Ninety student rooms are grouped around communal areas, complemented by a shared lounge. The outdoor space flows seamlessly into the courtyard. The facade design and structure of both buildings create a cohesive urban landscape. View project
New Primary School Thierschstraße, Leipzig. In Probstheida, a residential suburb southeast of Leipzig, a four-stream primary school with a double gymnasium was inaugurated in 2021. The ground floor is protected by an external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) using thin brick . The vibrant interplay of colors is emphasized by the vertical installation of the brick slips in thicknesses of 14 and 22 mm. View project
Caritas Headquarters in Lünen: The Caritas Association Lünen-Selm-Werne e.V. constructed a three-story new building on Lange Straße in Lünen in 2018 to accommodate its growth. In addition to administrative offices, the building houses a social services center, Advisory service , and a day care center for seniors. Designed and built to KfW Efficiency House 55 standards, the building is situated in a diverse area with many detached structures. Its dynamic, curved form asserts its independence. At the same time, the new building incorporates the predominant brick material, thus blending harmoniously with the existing listed buildings. Modern student residence in Hanover city center: At Klagesmarkt 17, in a central location in Hanover, a former office building from the 1970s has been comprehensively revitalized and transformed into a modern student residence with 98 micro-apartments. The compact units offer contemporary living comfort on approximately 26 m², including a kitchenette. The new building blends into the existing development with a setback and a striking head building. Towards the city center, the building rises by one story, creating a prominent urban landmark. Office building Ibbenbüren Südring. The design aims for maximum internal flexibility and self-sufficiency in terms of building technology and automation. The three-story structure is characterized by a clear, horizontal facade, further emphasized by the precast concrete elements. The internal layout follows a strict grid pattern, allowing for flexible partitioning of different office sizes. The chosen construction of a prestressed concrete slab maximizes this flexibility on each floor and enables a completely column-free interior. View project
Rheinallee in Mainz: In just 20 months, 138 rental apartments, three commercial units, and 163 underground parking spaces were built at the old customs port in Mainz. The five tower blocks offer water views, while an elongated building provides screening from Rheinallee. Generous glass facades facing the harbor and noise-optimized windows facing the street characterize the architecture. Brick and plaster create a vibrant facade design. View project
New building for music school, bank, and REWE supermarket in Bielefeld. The Senne Music School is located in the south of Bielefeld and was founded by music educators Helmut Quakernack and Jürgen Hillbrink. Over the years, it has steadily developed and is now an integral part of the local cultural scene. A new building is planned in the immediate vicinity, which, in addition to an optician and a bakery, will also house the music school – provided that a planned REWE supermarket is built at the rear of the property. The lease agreement with the investor has already been signed, the new premises are specifically tailored to the needs of the music school, and the move from the old gas station building, which is in need of renovation, is imminent. New Medical Center in Bielefeld: A modern medical center with the potential to become a clinic has been built on the foundation of a former air-raid shelter, directly adjacent to the Bielefeld Central Hospital. It offers space for cooperating medical practices and patient wards. The architecture combines brickwork, a glass facade, and sculptural staircases, clearly referencing the surrounding hospital buildings. A garden and roof terraces enhance the amenities for staff and patients. Total area: 9,514 m² gross floor area. View project
Pontsteiger Amsterdam: The facade was constructed from precast concrete elements. Thanks to prefabrication, one floor could be completed per week. Hand-glazed thin brick with a textured surface, in WDF format, are embedded in the concrete elements in alternating vertical and horizontal stacked patterns. The chameleon-like green and bronze tones of the thin brick create a facade that changes with the light and time of day, just like the surface of the water surrounding the building. View project

Redeemer Church Cologne-Weidenpesch Project: Hybrid new building comprising a church, community center, parish office, apartments, and daycare center. The building creates a striking focal point in the urban landscape. Despite its slightly elevated height, its compact form prevents it from appearing disproportionate to the surrounding area. Instead, it clearly defines the church square and articulates the intended visual impact. This effect is further enhanced by the inviting design of the generously recessed entrances. View project

The Rheinkontor in Mainz is a five-story office building with a striking brick facade and two courtyards, constructed between 2017 and 2020 as part of the Zollhafen redevelopment project. It offers flexible office space, roof terraces, restaurants, and 180 parking spaces. The main tenant is LBBW, which occupies approximately 10,000 m². Markgrafenkarree – New Living in Berlin-Mitte. The fundamental urban planning approach of the new building is based – in response to the different scales of the surrounding area – on the rediscovery of the Berlin block with its clearly defined streetscapes. New Pavers for Altenberge: Altenberge is located approximately 14 km northwest of the university city of Münster. The town center is the market square, which also serves as the hub of community life. The square was created in the late 1980s after former industrial sites became available for its redesign. To enhance the attractiveness of the town center and improve the overall experience of the now somewhat outdated market square, the municipality of Altenberge commissioned scape Landschaftsarchitekten GmbH from Düsseldorf to develop a design. Hampton by Hilton brand was built by the end of 2020 on a roughly 2,700 square meter plot of land, according to plans by the Hamburg-based architectural firm MPP Meding Plan + Projekt GmbH. The hotel features 208 rooms and a total gross floor area of approximately 8,000 square meters. The new hotel will be operated by GS Star GmbH, a subsidiary of Gorgeous Smiling Hotels GmbH. Lüerstraße School in Hanover: The new Sophienschule on Lüerstraße replaces the listed building on Seelhorststraße and offers space for 1,368 students and 110 staff members. Modern classrooms, specialist rooms, common areas, an auditorium, a cafeteria, and administrative offices are being built on 11,200 m². The bright, barrier-free building, constructed to passive house standards, promotes communication and provides quiet spaces. A photovoltaic system supplies the sports hall with electricity. "House of Green Associations" at Olga Park in Oberhausen has a new tenant: Ellin Line GmbH, a fiber optic network specialist. The building, completed in 2022, offers approximately 3,500 m² of office, conference, and storage space. It is a joint project of cemetery gardeners in North Rhine-Westphalia and also houses horticultural associations. The building is considered an architectural highlight with sustainable construction methods: green roofs, CO₂-neutral construction, and a green parking area. Since 2018, a total of around €30 million has been invested in the complex, creating 150 jobs. To offset the CO₂ emissions from construction, 1,000 trees are to be planted in Osterfeld. View project

In addition to the main building, the new building includes an integrated after-school care center, a cafeteria, and a sports hall. Lindenauer Hafen Leipzig: A micro-district with 72 rental apartments in four five-story buildings directly on the waterfront was completed on Hafenstraße in Leipzig by Q1 2021. The project was developed by Townscape and Sassenscheidt and sold to HanseMerkur before construction began. Through architectural twists, all units offer water views. A central plaza creates a pleasant atmosphere and ensures equal living space. The facade design is based on a yellowish brick slip type selected during the sampling process. View project
"Clouth Quarter" in Cologne: In 2018, two residential buildings with 17 units were built in Cologne for the Energie+ building group, including an underground parking garage and a common room in the former gatehouse. The buildings meet passive house standards and generate energy via photovoltaic systems on the roofs. The monolithic construction with 49 cm thick brick walls features rounded corners and is clad with profiled brick slips. Folding shutters from Falter provide effective sun protection and allow for window planting. View project
New IT office complex in Bissendorf: The four-story "ITHUB" office complex, with 3,000 m² of gross floor area, was completed turnkey in Bissendorf in 2021. It offers combined offices, meeting rooms, social areas, and modern technology such as underfloor heating with cooling function, air source heat pumps, and a photovoltaic system. The facade consists of beige brick and aluminum elements. The supporting structure was built using reinforced concrete. View project
Apartment building in Bochum: In Bochum-Wiemelhausen, a modern apartment building with 15 apartments (70–152 m²) and 32 underground parking spaces was built in 2019 on a former garage site. The goal was sustainable densification in line with the "renaissance of the city center." The underground parking garage improves noise reduction, and a common room is included. Visitor parking spaces and a central waste disposal area complete the concept. View project

The GHotel in Bochum, a modern 3-star-plus hotel with 162 rooms, was completed in 2019 at Alleestraße 140 in Bochum. The building has a gross floor area of 6,590 m² and a volume of 22,300 m³. A residential and commercial building with approximately 187 rental apartments (11,300 square meters) spread over six floors was constructed on the site at the corner of Winsstraße and Marienburger Straße in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. Residential Quarter in Düsseldorf: Building plot 3 of the Karolinger Höfe development is part of a project that emerged from an urban planning competition in 2011. A family-friendly residential quarter with approximately 350 units is being developed on the 1.6-hectare site in the Bilk district of Düsseldorf. On building plot 3, two residential buildings with 117 apartments are being constructed above a shared underground parking garage. The buildings are divided into seven sections, each distinguished by three different thin brick types and individual color schemes.
