District development in Berlin-Schöneberg The Schöneberg lens is an exciting urban planning project in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district in Berlin, which extends between the Südkreuz station and the Schöneberg S-Bahn station. The area is converted into an urban quarters with a mixture of living and commercial space. Both rental and condominiums, office space, a hotel, a daycare center and a café are created. A modern traffic concept and sustainable energy supply are central components of the project. A KfW 55-efficiency house standard is being sought and there is a combined heat and power plant. The public space is being redesigned to create a pedestrian -friendly environment. Tree avenues and city spaces contribute to addressing in the new district. The location is excellently connected to public transport, with bus, S and subway connections in the immediate vicinity. Many of the apartments are built barrier -free and have modern equipment such as underfloor heating and balconies or terraces. Show project
