An extraordinary person creates an extraordinary residential complex. He is an architect, front man and singer of the band "Antis" and one of the initiators of the Lithuanian movement: Algirdas Haušpedas.
In his youth he was the architect of the Kaunas Building Design Institute, later board member of the Architectural Association of Kaunas. He was head of Lithuanian national television for two years. From 1988-1990 Haušpedas actively participated in the restructuring of the Lithuanian movement. The movement of the initiative group was founded by the Science Academy. Algirdas Haušpedas was one of the sponsors of this group. He brought the struggle for freedom from folk tribunes to the ordinary people by inviting them to rock marches. The band "Antis" consisted of non -professional musicians: architects who dared to parody the Soviet life in these times of stagnation and to sing -singing revolutionary leaders.
In 1993, Haušpedas founded the "United Force" stock corporation. He built houses not only in Lithuania, but also in Germany, Denmark and Norway. He created a sales system for a variety of residential projects called "United Force Houses", published catalogs about various residential projects and founded the module house development and construction company JSC "JP House".
The city of Vilnius gave him honorary citizenship for his work in the Lithuanian movement and for promoting patriotism among young people. In 2015, Haušpedas took part in the “Mission Siberia” project, whose task it is to honor injured and killed people from the country, to promote understanding between the generations and to give young people the opportunity to learn more about the past.
