Located directly behind the North Sea dike, it offers 90 modern rooms, a rooftop bar with sea views, the "Lila Wolken" wellness area, conference rooms, and culinary highlights in the "Auntie Clara" restaurant and the "Drifters Hangout Bar." The GHotel in Bochum, a modern 3-star-plus hotel with 162 rooms, was completed in 2019 at Alleestraße 140 in Bochum. The building has a gross floor area of 6,590 m² and a volume of 22,300 m³. Hampton by Hilton brand was built by the end of 2020 on a roughly 2,700 square meter plot of land, according to plans by the Hamburg-based architectural firm MPP Meding Plan + Projekt GmbH. The hotel features 208 rooms and a total gross floor area of approximately 8,000 square meters. The new hotel will be operated by GS Star GmbH, a subsidiary of Gorgeous Smiling Hotels GmbH.
