In the middle of Antwerp, the second largest city of Belgium, is very close to the eye -catcher near Richard Rogers' famous judicial palace. The architects of Rau and Stramien designed the Catholic University "Karel de Grote". With Feldhaus- Thin Brick in combination with other materials such as aluminum and wood on the facade on accents. Seven different Thin Brick varieties were partially processed. The laying technique is particularly a highlight: six varieties of the straps were glued vertically without joint. The R561DF14 variety was processed horizontally next to the windows. The Belgian Company Heylen Ceramics supervised the tender and the technical support. The result is unique and makes the city of Antwerp appear even more beautiful!
