Residential Quarter in Düsseldorf: Building plot 3 of the Karolinger Höfe development is part of a project that emerged from an urban planning competition in 2011. A family-friendly residential quarter with approximately 350 units is being developed on the 1.6-hectare site in the Bilk district of Düsseldorf. On building plot 3, two residential buildings with 117 apartments are being constructed above a shared underground parking garage. The buildings are divided into seven sections, each distinguished by three different thin brick types and individual color schemes. View project
Reference Project: Renovation of an Old Building on Goebenstrasse in Lübeck. An old building on Goebenstrasse in Lübeck received a new look as part of a facade renovation: Feldhaus Klinkerslips in the R752NF finish were applied to the existing facade using an external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS), giving the building a durable, maintenance-free surface with a classic water-struck appearance. The project demonstrates how Feldhaus thin bricks are thin brick ideally Feldhaus for the energy-efficient and visual enhancement of existing buildings. Thanks to their slim dimensions of just 14 mm and a weight of approximately 27 kg/m², thin brick be used regardless of structural considerations. Neighborhood Development, Berlin-Schöneberg, Germany: The Schöneberg Lens is an exciting urban development project in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district of Berlin, located between Südkreuz station and Schöneberg S-Bahn station. The area is being transformed into an urban quarter with a mix of residential and commercial spaces. The development will include both rental and owner-occupied apartments, office space, a hotel, a daycare center, and a café. A modern transportation concept and a sustainable energy supply are key components of the project. The buildings are being built to meet KfW 55 efficiency standards and will feature a combined heat and power plant. Public spaces are being redesigned to create a pedestrian-friendly environment. Tree-lined avenues and public squares will contribute to the distinct character of the new quarter. The location boasts excellent public transportation connections, with bus, S-Bahn, and U-Bahn lines in the immediate vicinity. Pontsteiger Amsterdam: The facade was constructed from precast concrete elements. Thanks to prefabrication, one floor could be completed per week. Hand-glazed thin brick with a textured surface, in WDF format, are embedded in the concrete elements in alternating vertical and horizontal stacked patterns. The chameleon-like green and bronze tones of the thin brick create a facade that changes with the light and time of day, just like the surface of the water surrounding the building. View project
